Website design & development
A website that turns visitors into customers
Fast, accessible, and built to convert — with the technical detail handled so you never think about it
Attention is the whole game
Win them fast, or lose them for good
You've probably heard that humans now have a shorter attention span than a goldfish. It isn't true — that figure was never Microsoft's research, it traced back to an analytics note about 25 people, and researchers who actually study attention have dismissed it. We'd rather give you the real number.
Measured properly, average attention on a single screen fell from roughly 150 seconds in 2004 to about 47 seconds by the late 2010s. That's the honest version, and it's still brutal: if a visitor can't work out what you do and what to do next inside a minute, they're gone — and a site that looks dated reads like a business that's barely hanging on.

Most of your visitors arrive on a phone
So that's where we design it first, not where we squeeze it in afterwards

Reporting & E-E-A-T
Transparent analytics, plus the experience, expertise, authority and trust signals Google weighs.
Intent is where the hidden gems live. Someone searches “MD for chronic pain,” but the research surfaces “MD to treat back pain” and “MD for pain relief.” Each variation is a separate pool of people with the same problem — and the long-tail ones are usually cheaper to win and closer to booking.
Money never sleeps, and neither does the internet.

Why does a modern website matter
Because it's usually the first thing a prospective customer checks, and it's judged in seconds. A dated or confusing site raises bounce rates and quietly loses business, while a fast, clear site with an obvious next step converts the traffic you're already paying for.
How long does a website take to build
A focused marketing site typically takes six to ten weeks from kickoff: discovery and structure, then design, then build and content, then testing. Larger sites with integrations, booking systems or e-commerce take longer. You get the timeline in the scope before you commit.
What does a website cost
It depends on page count, integrations and how much content needs writing. Rather than quote before we understand the job, we scope it after a free consultation and show you the full price up front. No line items you find out about later.
Will I be able to update the site myself
Yes. We build on a content management system and hand over training, so your team can edit text, swap images and publish pages without calling us. You're welcome to keep us on for changes — you just shouldn't be trapped into it.
Do I own the site and the domain
Always. The domain, hosting account, code and content belong to you and stay in your name. We don't build on a proprietary platform you can't leave, and if we ever part ways the site goes with you.
Is the site accessible, and does that matter
It matters legally and commercially. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA: sufficient colour contrast, full keyboard operation, proper semantics and screen-reader support. Inaccessible sites have attracted a steady stream of ADA complaints, and roughly one in four US adults lives with a disability.
How do you handle site speed
We build to Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds and test on real mobile connections, not a fast office network. Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor at the same time, so it's a requirement rather than a nice-to-have.
Can you rebuild or fix our existing site instead
Often, yes. If the foundation is sound we audit it, fix what's leaking and optimize rather than starting over. We only recommend a rebuild when it's genuinely the faster route to revenue — a rebuild you didn't need is an expensive way to stand still.
What happens after launch
Updates, security patching, backups, monitoring and ongoing conversion improvements. A website isn't a project that finishes; it's an asset that decays if nobody maintains it. We tell you exactly what's covered before launch.
